Volunteer for Fun Night!
The biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up and we need your help to make it a success! Please check the sign up sheet here to see if you can help out for a shift. We have done our best to keep the shifts as short as possible, and everything you need will be provided.

Fun Night is Edgewood's Annual Carnival featuring carnival games, prizes, raffle baskets, food trucks, face painting, balloon animals, cotton candy, a hair salon, a treat trot, a wine wall, a used book store, and more! The funds raised at this event go to many great programs that the PTA offers, such as Storyteller Kelly, Edgewood Village, which provides snack packs for kids that are low on food security, holiday break meals and jackets and such for families that need them, as well as a school garden, artist-in-residence, teacher requests for sensory supplies, and so much more.

Do you know what your plans are for next year?

RISE in ILLNESS!  When to stay home….
Please remind kids to wash hands often and thoroughly!  Thank you to everyone who has kept kids with illnesses home to prevent more spread in our classroom.
These are the symptoms we have been seeing the most at school.  Here are a few guidelines on when to return to school:
   - Fever of 100.4 or greater Kids should be fever free for 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medicine.
   - New cough illness symptoms need to be consistently improving for 24 hours (no cough or controlled cough)
   - Diarrhea/vomiting- symptom free for 24 hours
We appreciate you keeping our Edgewood Community healthy by keeping kids experiencing these symptoms home to recover!

PLEASE PACK AN EXTRA CHANGE OF CLOTHES!
THIS IS TRUE FOR ALL KIDS! Please make sure that kids dress for the weather and have them bring some extra clothes in case they need them.  They will be happier as will the front office staff!
