The Edgewood PTA brings Storyteller Kelly to each class every week. We'd love for families to get to share in the experience.
On Friday, May 30th, at 6:15 pm, Storyteller Kelly will be sharing stories with any Edgewood family who would like to join us.
Bring a picnic and a blanket. We'll be enjoying the end of May weather outside together. Storytime will go until 7:15 pm.
**Please note that this is not a drop-off event.  All students need to be accompanied by an adult
**The event is free, but we will appreciate donations to help cover the cost of Storyteller Kelly.  More info on ways to donate coming soon!

Electronics Waste Competition Wraps Up!
A record setting 48 schools that participated in this year’s Electronics Recycling Competition diverted a record-setting amount of electronics waste from the landfill.
Out of 20 schools in our category, Edgewood placed 10th by bringing in 607 pounds of E-Waste!
"Combining all the school participants' e-waste totals altogether now, the schools have kept a total of 41,491 lbs. of electronic recycling out of the landfill," said NextStep Recycling Executive Director Jessica Ahrenholtz. "This an incredible achievement for everyone who has contributed to the event!"
To put this in context, the ERC collected 134,000 pounds between 2015 and 2024. Therefore, this year's collection was 30 percent of that total!
 Wow.
