EDGEWOOD FUN NIGHT!!!
Edgewood Fun Night
April 24, 2026
5:30-8pm
We are just two months away from one of the PTA's most beloved events -- Edgewood Fun Night! Fun Night is Edgewood's Annual Carnival featuring carnival games, prizes, raffle baskets, food trucks, face painting, balloon animals, cotton candy, a hair salon, a treat trot, a wine wall, a used book store, and more!
This event requires a large amount of volunteer support to be successful. There are plenty of ways you can help us prepare for the best Fun Night yet. Please see some ways you can help below and email us at edgewoodfunnight@gmail.com if you have any questions!
**BE A CLASSROOM BASKET COORDINATOR FOR YOUR CHILD'S CLASS
One of Fun Night's most exciting happenings is your classroom basket raffle. Each year, each class puts together a themed basket of donated items to be raffled off during the event. As a classroom basket coordinator, your job will be to connect with your classroom teacher and parents to help collect, store, and package any donations that come in. Please sign up here to be your classroom's basket coordinator:

**START COLLECTING USED CHILDREN'S BOOKS
Another popular Fun Night staple is the Edgewood Bookcycle - a used book store where kids can peruse and "buy" books using their Fun Night tickets. To make the Bookcycle great, we ask for donations of CHILDREN'S BOOKS ONLY (up to YA). The more books we get, the better! We'll begin collecting books in March, so as you do your spring cleaning, please make sure you keep us in mind before you get rid of any used books!
**BECOME A SPONSOR
Fun Night is not only a fun community event, but it also serves as a fundraiser for our school. Last year we raised more than $17,000! Sponsorships are an amazing way to support our efforts while getting your name out into our community. Sponsorships come with a variety of perks, depending on your level of support. Please see the attached document for more info and email edgewoodfunnight@gmail.com if you have any questions!
**FUN NIGHT TICKETS
TIckets for Fun Night will go on sale after spring break and more details about the event will be distributed in the coming weeks. For now, make sure you SAVE THE DATE! And if you are able to help, please reach out to us anytime at edgewoodfunnight@gmail.com. Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO OUR 2026 SPONSORS!

Other Opportunities
Chess Club mid-term enrollment. We are opening winter mid-term enrollment to introduce new players to chess club! It is an opportunity for your child to try chess at just a moderate tuition through spring break to see how they like it. The club will prepare them to play better with friends and family and to eventually help them be able to compete in peer-level tournaments. Chess club meets Mondays, 3:00-4:00PM in the Library. We hope you can join us!
